Nuggets coach Karl out due to treatment

DENVER (AP)—Denver coach George Karl is skipping the Nuggets’ game against theMilwaukee Bucks on Saturday night as he continues cancer treatment.
This is the seventh game Karl has skipped since announcing a month ago hehad been diagnosed with throat cancer.

Karl also missed the Nuggets’ game Thursday night against New Orleans, thefirst time he had sat out a home game.
The Nuggets took a 5-1 record under acting head coach Adrian Dantley intoSaturday night’s game.
