Colts sign free agent OL Alleman

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent guard AndyAlleman(notes).
The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder was New Orleans’ third-round draft choice in 2007.He started four games in Miami in 2008, and started three games for Kansas Citylast season.
He played college football at Akron. The signing announced Thursday comesthree days after the Colts released Ryan Lilja(notes), their starting left guard.
Team president Bill Polian was critical of the offensive line followingIndy’s Super Bowl loss to New Orleans.
