Aikman, Nantz, Pickens join Hall board

NEW YORK (AP)—Troy Aikman, Jim Nantz and T. Boone Pickens have acceptedpositions on the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame nationalboard of directors.

Also joining the 41 active board members will be William Battle, Founder,the Collegiate Licensing Company; Timothy Cook, chief operating officer of AppleComputer and Robert L. Epling, the president and CEO of Community Bank ofFlorida.

Aikman is a member of the college and pro football halls of fame. He playedfor UCLA and the Dallas Cowboys and now works as an NFL game analysis for Fox.

Nantz is the lead play-by-play announcer for CBS sports.

Pickens is the billionaire alumnus of Oklahoma State University and a majordonor to the school.
