Fresno St., Hill agree on extension

FRESNO, Calif. (AP)—Fresno State coach Pat Hill will got a contract extensionto stay at the school beyond the 2010 season.

Hill and the school announced Sunday night that the sides have agreed to anew contract. Hill’s current deal expires after next season.

Final details of the contract are still being worked out. The two sides willwork out terms after the holidays and make a formal announcement when the dealis signed.

Hill has a 100-65 record in 11 seasons at Fresno State. He has led theBulldogs to their 10th bowl game in his tenure. Fresno State (8-4) plays Wyomingin the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday.
