Wake QB Skinner cleared for Jackets game

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP)—Wake Forest quarterback Riley Skinner has beencleared to play in Saturday’s game at No. 10 Georgia Tech after sustaining aconcussion last week.
The school announced Friday that the senior is expected to start his 33rdconsecutive game.
Skinner was replaced by backup Ryan McManus in the fourth quarter of lastweek’s loss to Miami after taking a hard hit that ripped off his helmet andbroke his face mask. Skinner was held out of practice Monday, but slowlyreturned to his normal practice routine this week.
